About Susan Stenander
Susan has recently joined Elawa as a Director of Finance & Operations. She started her career at Arthur Andersen and later joined the Crown family office in 2003 as one of their first Analysts. Her 13-year tenure at Henry Crown & Company included oversight of agricultural holdings.
Susan has also held previous roles with Iroquois Valley Farmland REIT, Sitka Salmon Shares, and is the co-founder of two local agricultural businesses, Midwest Organics Recycling and Village Farmstand.
Susan holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance from Drake University, and a CPA certificate.
