About Danielle Robinson

Danielle is passionate about all things food. From childhood, she took a liking to the culinary world - especially baking pastries - a love which she carried from her first Home Economics class in 6th grade, all the way through adulthood. As a hobby, Danielle continued to bake for family gatherings and events at her daughter’s school.

Danielle obtained a business degree from Florida A&M University and the University of Phoenix. After leaving the corporate world in 2019, Danielle turned her hobby of baking into a cottage food business. In 2020, she began creating recipes and selling baked goods at a local farmers market. On a whim, she visited a farm in Marengo and, after posting pictures on social media, signed up to volunteer at Elawa Farm during the summer of 2021. She joined the Elawa as a permanent member of staff in 2022, and continues to enjoy working with and learning from Pastry Chef, Maggie Logan and all the kitchen team.
