About Emma

Meet Emma Kelly, our Communications Assistant! A Lake Forest native, Emma grew up visiting Elawa Farm and making memories surrounded by nature, animals, and fresh produce. She’s excited to transition into a new role at the farm, helping tell Elawa’s story and connect the community to all that’s happening here.

After graduating from the University of Dayton with a degree in marketing, Emma spent the past year teaching English at an elementary school in Madrid, Spain. Emma is also a big foodie with a deep appreciation for the local food scene, and she’s spent years working in hospitality throughout the area as a bartender and barista. She loves the way food brings people together and especially enjoys capturing the details of a meal through photos and video. She’s excited to bring that passion—along with her background in storytelling and community engagement—to Elawa Farm, helping celebrate all that makes this place so special.
