About Sarah Lynne
Sarah’s passion for hospitality began early—creating place cards and seating arrangements for family gatherings as a child. From there, her path was clear.
She began her professional career with Maggiano’s Little Italy, working at locations throughout Illinois. Starting as an assistant, she advanced to Sales Manager and later became a trainer supporting teams at other locations. Her broad experience in service and events led her to boutique hotels in Chicago, wedding cake sales, off-premise catering, and a variety of restaurant concepts.
After the Capital Grille at Old Orchard closed, Sarah discovered an opening at Elawa. Having first seen the property years earlier while working with Pear Tree Hell’s Kitchen Catering, she immediately knew it was the place she had been searching for.
With more than 20 years of experience in event sales and execution, Sarah brings warmth, expertise, and a true love of gathering people together.
A native of Woodridge, Illinois, Sarah’s career eventually brought her to the North Shore. She has always appreciated the outdoors, inspired by childhood trips with her father to the Chicago Botanic Garden and Cantigny. Bringing people together to celebrate food, family, and fellowship continues to be at the heart of everything she does.
Favorite Produce from the garden: Heirloom Tomatoes
