This year, we’re proud to source our Thanksgiving turkeys from two Illinois farms: Abundant Pastures in Claremont and TJ’s Free Range Poultry in Piper City. We’ve worked with both farms previously and value their commitment to raising animals on pasture with care for the health and well-being of both the animals and the land.
The turkeys begin life in a protected brooder before moving to pasture at eight weeks old, where they have access to grass and insects and are regularly moved across the land to support pasture regeneration. They are also fed a farm-made ration made with Non-GMO ingredients.
We’re pleased to partner with farmers who prioritize thoughtful, pasture-based practices and raise their animals with care from farm to table.
Turkey Details:
Medium-sized turkeys range from 15 ibs to 19 lbs.
We will do our best to accommodate weight requests but cannot guarantee exact sizes, as the turkeys are harvested close to pickup.
Turkeys arrive frozen and will be carefully thawed in time for your pickup.
Please note: The turkey is raw and uncooked, ready for your personal touch at home.
Ordering Information:
A $50 deposit per turkey is required at the time of order and reserves your turkey.
The remaining balance will be invoiced at $7.50/lb, less your $50 deposit, and is due at pickup.
The estimated price for a medium-sized turkey is $112–$150.

Orders will be available for pickup on Wednesday, November 25th, between 9 AM and 12 PM at Elawa Farm.
Please note: All sales are final. We are unable to make adjustments once the order is placed. Any unclaimed Thanksgiving orders will be donated to our food pantry partners.
